Who doesn't follow you back on Instagram?

Upload your official Instagram data file and instantly see who doesn't follow you back. No login, no password, nothing uploaded — it all happens in your browser.

How it works

  1. Download your data from Instagram. In the app: Profile → ☰ → Accounts Center → Your information and permissions → Download your information. Choose only “Followers and following”, format JSON, date range All time. Step-by-step guide with tips.
  2. Wait for Instagram's email (usually a few minutes) and download the .zip file.
  3. Drop the .zip here. You'll instantly see everyone who doesn't follow you back, sorted by when you followed them.

Why not use an “unfollowers” app?

Most follower-tracking apps ask you to log in with your Instagram password. That breaks Instagram's rules, can get your account temporarily blocked for “suspicious activity”, and hands your account to a stranger. This checker never touches your account — it only reads the file Instagram gave you, on your own device.

Frequently asked questions

Is it safe? Do you need my Instagram password?
We never ask for your password and never connect to your account. Apps that ask you to log in can get your account restricted or stolen. This checker only reads the official data file that Instagram itself gives you, and it does so inside your browser — the file is never uploaded.
Why do I need to download my Instagram data?
Instagram doesn't let websites read your follower list without logging in as you. The safe way is Instagram's own “Download your information” feature, which gives you a file with your followers and the accounts you follow. It's free and takes a few minutes.
Which format should I choose — JSON or HTML?
Choose JSON — it's the most reliable. HTML files also work here.
Can it show who unfollowed me recently?
Instagram's file contains your current followers. Download your data again later and upload the new file: anyone who is in “Don't follow you back” now but followed you before has unfollowed you. The “Recently unfollowed” tab shows accounts that you unfollowed, if Instagram included that file.
Why is someone listed who follows me?
The file is a snapshot from the moment Instagram created it. If someone followed you after that, download a fresh copy. Deactivated accounts can also appear in one list but not the other.
Does it work for TikTok, Threads or other apps?
Right now it supports Instagram data files. Threads uses the same Instagram account, so its followers usually match.
